Qualification Definition and Written, Practical–Oral Test Reformation Plan for Qualitative improvement of “Health Exercise Managers”

PURPOSE This study aims to investigate the problems posed by new “Health Exercise Managers” qualification system implemented in 2015 and suggest a reformation plan for definition, written test, practical–oral test.METHODS Eleven experts working academia exercise prescription field were selected as research participants using purposive sampling method (professors=5, director of sport science division national development institute=1, head national/private organization that issue Health Managers certificates=2, health managers at university hospitals =3). The results collected, examined classified following numerous discussions among authors.RESULTS First, definition should be based on “course completion” short term “department certification” long term. Second, test can reformed identifying core courses related management merging similar or overlapped courses. Also, grades calculated each question knowledge gained Third, questions publicly available advance help candidates better prepare learn practical skills, rather than set standards elimination.CONCLUSIONS An overall will solve quality “health managers” system.
